Todd Miller is a seasoned intellectual property attorney and registered patent attorney with extensive litigation and prosecution experience.  He counsels clients on the development, maintenance, and enforcement of global patent and trademark portfolios.

Todd has tried and won matters before jurors, judges, and arbitrators.  He has also prosecuted hundreds of patent and trademark applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and other agencies worldwide.  A former partner at Jones Day and co-chair of its Emerging Technologies practice, Todd has represented clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to start-ups.  His breadth of experience informs a practical approach to intellectual property strategy grounded in each client's business objectives.

Todd has been selected to the Super Lawyers® list annually since 2013, a distinction recognizing the top 5% of practicing attorneys.  He is also a frequent speaker and author, having published more than 20 articles in China, Germany, Japan, the U.K., and the U.S. under the auspices of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the American Intellectual Property Law Association, and the Max Planck Institute.
